To the fullest extent permitted by law, Gizmodi and its author are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for lost data, profits or business, arising from use of the service. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid to use Gizmodi, which is zero.

The tool code, name and visual design remain the author's property. Content you type into a tool stays yours; nothing is uploaded, and anything you generate (a QR code, a hash) is yours to use.
